Hagen, 9-11. October 35 teams (26 men and 9 women) from seven coutntries – England, Austria, Finland, France, Hungary, Germany, Serbia – struggle for the medals in the 13 German Open. In single events 79 men and 21 women participated. All evenst was ended by the winning of Hungarians. They beat Germans in all finals. First time in the history of German Open's was organized single events. Tóth Gábor (Újszászi VVSE) and Prukker-Gozdán Ágota (Nagykanizsa ZSE) were the first champions.
